What is the competition format?
Authenticity is at the heart of Viva Vocal. Every soloist and duet performs with a live microphone, creating a genuine performance experience from the moment they step on stage. At our Grand Final, this extends to group performances, giving every entrant the opportunity to perform in a professional live setting.
Who are the adjudicators?
Our adjudicators are carefully selected industry professionals with extensive experience in singing, acting and industry led time. They provide constructive, meaningful feedback that builds confidence and helps performers grow as artists.
How are entries managed?
Entries are currently managed by email. We encourage schools and parents to reach out directly to our team to discuss participation and entry requirements for the upcoming heats and grand final.
What are the competition categories?
Viva Vocal offers a wide range of singing and acting categories for children and young performers, including solo singing, duets, acting and group performances. Whether stepping onto the stage for the first time or performing regularly, every entrant is given the opportunity to perform in a professional, supportive environment.
Is there a trophy focus?
No. We believe in the journey of performance. While we celebrate achievement, our primary focus is on the authentic experience, constructive feedback, and the confidence gained through stagecraft. Our competition is very much focused on how a performer can evolve, learn and grow. Somethng very true to working in the real world.
